  I'm giving this mall 5-stars because it houses one of the few independent bookstores in Rhode Island, Wakefield Books. This is a fabulous book store with excellent staff, great recommendations, bargains, local authors, book talks, everything you want in a local bookstore. They've also been very supportive of local authors throughout the years and have helped more than one author launch their career and go from self-published to traditionally published, including a local high school student. They're awesome! The mall also has a great independent toy store - POW Science (great place for birthday parties) and a staples, Panera bread, Shaw's market and some clothing stores. Cheap hair cutting place that does good work as well. And there is ample parking.
